San Diego-based Mogl, which operates a restaurant reward program, said this morning that it has launched a new product which allows restaurants to adjust–in real time–the amount of rewards it gives to customers depending on the time of day. Mogl said the new program comes via a partnership with Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX, and lets restaurants offer different cash back options on each meal purchase. The company said the new feature will let restaurants encourage visits during slow times, and offer less in rewards during busy periods. Mogl’s restaurant rewards programs lets consumers earn cash back for eating at specific restaurants, in addition to letting users donate those rewards to charity. Mogul is led by Jon Carder.
